Greg's Bio
Born in Mobile, Alabama and raised as a Preacher’s son, I have been on the move all my life. After more than a 20 year absence, my family and I have returned home to the Shoals area to live and work. Since 1983, I have been married to the former Mary Robison of Killen, Alabama and we are blessed with two daughters, Mindy Marie and Olivia Claire. Both are Christians.
God has blessed me with many great experiences and opportunities. Recently, I retired with 25 years of service in the Army National Guard. It was my honor to serve primarily with the Chaplain corps as both enlisted and officer. In 2003, I was activated and mobilized for phase one of Operation Iraqi Freedom and I lived in downtown Baghdad for a year. My first night in Iraq was spent near the birth place of Abraham - in ancient Ur. For over 20 years, God has allowed me to serve Him in full-time ministry as a Preacher, Youth Minister and Campus Minister in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Florida. My education was conducted at Magnolia Bible College, Harding Graduate School and Freed-Hardeman University. As result, I hold a B.A. and a Masters and have worked towards a Doctorate. Over the years, I have spoken in numerous Gospel meetings, schools, workshops and retreats in several states and in the Grand Cayman Islands, Russia, Costa Rica, Guyana, S.A., Kuwait and Iraq.
My passion is sharing the Gospel and watching it change lives. My purpose as a Minister is to equip and encourage Christians to use their God given abilities to the glory of God. My desire is simply to be fruitful and pleasing for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
