Benevolence

The Benevolence Ministry conducts various activities to assist those with needs within the Sherrod Avenue congregation and the local community.  Some activities that provide assistance to the local community include two clothing give-a-way days each year, a special Thanksgiving meal, food and gifts for needy families during Christmas, and assistance to those in need of groceries, clothing, and help with utility bills and medicine.  Each recipient of assistance is shown a short video on how to become a Christian and provided an opportunity to ask questions related to their salvation.
